Our qualified Registered Nurses can support you and care for your health at home. You may have been in hospital or unwell with an illness and need assistance to help you get well again while you’re at home. You may have ongoing or complex health issues and need regular visits from a qualified, caring nurse.

Our Registered Nurses and qualified care workers can support you in:

  • general nursing care and daily assistance
  • pre and post-surgery care or hospitalisation
  • managing ongoing illness
  • assistance with dressings and wound management
  • medication management and pain management.

We are also able to support you with palliative care options and understand that you may wish to stay at home, in familiar surroundings and with your family and loved ones.

What do home nursing services cost?

Nursing care, with a qualified Registered Nurse or a care worker, at home can be covered through a range of funded and private options. These include nursing care through your Home Care Package, or paying for nursing at home through our private packages.

Is home nursing available in my area?

Nursing care at home is available in most of our Community Care locations across New South Wales and southern Queensland. Whiddon has residential aged care homes across 20 locations with highly trained and experienced clinical care workers and Registered Nurses. We can discuss care staff options with you, depending on your health needs.
