Date: 23 November 2015

As part of our Creative Ageing approach, our Whiddon services recently ran a Christmas card art competition amongst Community Care, Residential and Independent Living clients.

Our clients and residents were invited to submit a photograph, painting or drawing based on a Christmas theme, with the winning entry to be printed and used as our Whiddon Christmas card artwork for 2015.

90 entries were received in total, and were judged by a panel of staff members.

Congratulations to our winner, Seventy two year old Neil Baker from our Laurieton residential home, who took out the first place with his lovely Santa Claus painting!

Because we had so many wonderful entries to choose from, we couldn’t help but also choose 2nd and 3rd place winners.
