How do I apply for a role with The Whiddon Group?
Visit our employment page and submit your application via the ‘apply now’ link.
If there is a position that you are interested in that is not currently advertised, you can submit an Expression of Interest. All Expressions of interest will be submitted to the relevant service and kept on file.

How will I know if my application has progressed to the next stage?
You will be advised via telephone whether you will progress to the interview stage. Please note that only successful applicants will be notified of this, however your application may be kept on file so if a suitable position becomes available in the future we may contact you.

Will I be required to undertake pre-employment screening?
If you are the preferred candidate, you will be required to undertake pre-employment screening. The types of screening will be determined by the requirements of the role and not all pre employment screening steps are required for all candidates. However, all candidates must have a reference check prior to an initial offer of employment with The Whiddon Group.

Will I be required to undertake a Criminal History Record Check?
Under the Accountability Principles 1998 of the Aged Care Act 1997, all employees need to complete a national criminal history record check (NCHRC), also known as a police check, before The Whiddon Group can offer you employment.

You do not have to agree to this request. However The Whiddon Group will not be able to offer you employment without seeing the results of an original NCHRC.

Does Whiddon employ individuals who require visa sponsorship?

Sponsorship provides many positive opportunities for organisations such as Whiddon. As such, Whiddon is open to considering applications for employment from individuals who may require visa sponsorship.

Engagement of recruitment agencies or executive search firms can only be initiated upon approval by the Executive General Manager People and Culture. Whiddon does not accept any recruiter or supplier default charges unless under a Whiddon agreement for services.
