COVID-19 Vaccine Update<\/strong><\/p>\n

We are pleased to advise that the second round of vaccines is now completed. This means that residents who have chosen to have the COVID-19 vaccine have now received their second dose. Close to 95% of residents at Whiddon Easton Park chose to have the vaccine. This shows a very high uptake of the vaccine, which is pleasing.<\/p>\n

We are yet to hear about access to the vaccine for new residents who have joined us at Whiddon since the vaccine was first offered here. We will provide a further update once we know details around this.<\/p>\n

Visiting Whiddon Easton Park<\/strong><\/p>\n

It is important that we stay vigilant and continue to take steps to help keep everyone safe. Please ensure when visiting, that you have follow our guidelines when visiting:<\/p>\n

  • Please do not visit if you have travelled from overseas in the past 14 days, or to any listed COVID-19 hotspots<\/li>\n
  • Please do not visit if you have been in contact with someone confirmed to have COVID-19<\/li>\n
  • Practice hand hygiene when you enter or leave the care home<\/li>\n
  • Please do not visit if you are unwell or have been in contact with someone unwell<\/li>\n
  • Adhere to physical distancing guidelines of 1.5m from all residents (including loved ones) and employees<\/li>\n
