Their website is updated regularly and can be accessed <a href=\"https:\/\/www.health.nsw.gov.au\/Infectious\/covid-19\/Pages\/case-locations-and-alerts.aspx\">HERE. <\/a>If you have been to any of these locations, please follow NSW Health advice and let our Director Care Services know if you visited Whiddon since attending any locations of concern.<\/p>\n<p><strong>NSW Health Advice on visitation\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>NSW Health has provided the following advice around visitation, which is relevant to <strong>Whiddon<\/strong> <strong>Hornsby<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<div class=\"single-post-content\">\n<div class=\"container\">\n<div class=\"row\">\n<div class=\"col-12\">\n<div class=\"post-content\">\n<ul>\n<li><strong>All staff and visitors must wear a surgical mask\u00a0<\/strong><\/li>\n<li><strong>Only two visitors are permitted each day<\/strong><\/li>\n<li><strong>Visits should take place in the resident\u2019s room<\/strong><\/li>\n<li><strong>Residents are discouraged from leaving the facility to attend large gatherings in Greater Sydney<\/strong><\/li>\n<li><strong>Residents must wear a surgical mask if they are leaving the care home<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Please note the updated restrictions for Greater Sydney announced today &#8211; <a href=\"https:\/\/www.nsw.gov.au\/media-releases\/new-covid-19-restrictions-for-greater-sydney-23-june-2021\">click here to view these.<\/a><\/p>\n<p><strong>Important considerations<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>It is <strong>important that we stay vigilant<\/strong> to help protect our residents, employee and visitors. Please delay your visit if you are feeling unwell, have been around someone who is unwell and check to see if you have been to any locations of concern before you visit. If you do need to visit, please ensure you wear a mask, practice good hand hygiene and stay 1.5m from others. <strong>All visits must be booked prior.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Vaccinations\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>All visitors and staff entering a residential aged care facility should be required to provide evidence that they received a dose of the 2021 influenza vaccination. There are some exemptions which are outlined in the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.health.nsw.gov.au\/Infectious\/covid-19\/Documents\/flu-medical-form.pdf\" target=\"\" rel=\"noopener\">influenza vaccine medical contraindication form<\/a>. This will be in effect until 30 September 2021.<\/p>\n<p>As we are endeavouring to protect your vulnerable loved ones, we do encourage you to have the relevant COVID-19 vaccine as determined by the Department of Health.
