{"id":19527,"date":"2021-09-13T02:53:22","date_gmt":"2021-09-13T02:53:22","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.whiddon.com.au\/?page_id=19527"},"modified":"2022-07-15T01:46:55","modified_gmt":"2022-07-15T01:46:55","slug":"an-update-to-nsw-whiddon-families","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.whiddon.com.au\/comms\/an-update-to-nsw-whiddon-families\/","title":{"rendered":"An update to Whiddon families"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>13 September 2021<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Some areas of NSW are no longer under <a href=\"https:\/\/www.nsw.gov.au\/covid-19\/rules\/limited-restrictions\">NSW Health stay-at-home Orders. <\/a>As a result, we want to provide you with an update relating to our care homes in these areas and what this means for visitors and resident outings.<\/p>\n<h3><strong>Update for our care homes in areas <span style=\"text-decoration: underline\">NO LONGER UNDER NSW Health stay-at-home Orders <\/span><em>(Casino, Grafton, Kyogle, Laurieton, Maclean, Moree, Temora and Wingham)<\/em><\/strong><\/h3>\n<p>Residents <strong>may have two visitors per day<\/strong>, provided that they do not come from an area that is under the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.nsw.gov.au\/covid-19\/rules\/affected-regions\">stay-at-home Orders.<\/a><\/p>\n<p>Visits must <strong>be pre-booked with our team<\/strong>\u00a0and visitors must ensure:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>they wear a surgical mask<\/li>\n<li>they practice good hand hygiene and social distancing<\/li>\n<li>meet in the resident&#8217;s room and not in common areas<\/li>\n<li>they check-in through our visitor check-in system and the Service NSW app<\/li>\n<li>they do not visit if they have been to any COVID-19 hotspot venues or locations, or to any interstate locations of concern<\/li>\n<li>they do not visit if they are unwell and have any COVID-19 symptoms \u2013 fever (37. 5\u00b0C or higher) or symptoms of COVID-19<\/li>\n<li>they do not visit if they are a close contact of a person with confirmed COVID-19 and are within their self-isolation period<\/li>\n<li>they do not visit if they live in a household with a person who is currently self-isolating<\/li>\n<li>they do not visit if they are waiting for a COVID-19 test result<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Residents in care homes not under stay-at-home Orders (as per the locations above):<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Are permitted to\u00a0leave the facility and attend small family gatherings but must abide by the current <a href=\"https:\/\/legislation.nsw.gov.au\/information\/covid19-legislation\/temporary-movement-gathering-restrictions\">COVID-19 Safety &#8211; gathering and movement restrictions<\/a><\/li>\n<li>Must not go into an area that is currently under a stay-at-home Orders<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>13 September 2021 Some areas of NSW are no longer under NSW Health stay-at-home Orders.
