{"id":20007,"date":"2021-11-17T05:24:26","date_gmt":"2021-11-17T05:24:26","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.whiddon.com.au\/?page_id=20007"},"modified":"2022-07-15T02:16:03","modified_gmt":"2022-07-15T02:16:03","slug":"update-to-whiddon-moree-families-12","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.whiddon.com.au\/comms\/update-to-whiddon-moree-families-12\/","title":{"rendered":"Update to Whiddon Moree families"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>18 November 2021<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>We are very pleased to welcome back visitors to Whiddon Moree as of tomorrow, <strong>Friday, 19 November.<\/strong> We understand that this has been a difficult time and we thank you for your patience, and for helping to keep everyone safe, while the number of COVID-19 cases in the region was high.<\/p>\n<p>As we welcome you back, we&#8217;d like to remind you of some important guidelines from NSW Health for visiting our care home.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Residents are permitted to have two fully vaccinated visitors aged 12 years and over, plus two children under 12 years per day.\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"text-decoration: underline\"><strong>Please note that visits must be pre-booked with our team<\/strong><\/span> and visitors must ensure:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>they have a rapid antigen test onsite when they arrive<\/li>\n<li>they wear a surgical mask<\/li>\n<li>they have received a second dose of a COVID vaccination at least 14 days prior to their visit (visitors over 12 years old)<\/li>\n<li>where visits include a child under 12, visits are strongly recommended to take place in an outdoor area, children should wear a mask and the child should have a rapid antigen test just before the visit &#8211; this can be done onsite at Whiddon Moree<\/li>\n<li>they practice good hand hygiene and social distancing<\/li>\n<li>meet in the resident&#8217;s room and not in common areas<\/li>\n<li>they check-in through our visitor check-in system and the Service NSW app<\/li>\n<li>they do not visit if they have been to any COVID-19 hotspot venues or locations, or to any interstate locations of concern<\/li>\n<li>they do not visit if they are unwell and have any COVID-19 symptoms \u2013 fever (37. 5\u00b0C or higher) or symptoms of COVID-19<\/li>\n<li>they do not visit if they are a close contact of a person with confirmed COVID-19 and are within their self-isolation period<\/li>\n<li>they do not visit if they live in a household with a person who is currently self-isolating<\/li>\n<li>they do not visit if they are waiting for a COVID-19 test result<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>We thank you for your understanding and patience.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>18 November 2021 We are very pleased to welcome back visitors to Whiddon Moree as of tomorrow, Friday, 19 November.
