A booster dose increases your protection against:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>infection with the virus that causes COVID-19<\/li>\n<li>severe disease<\/li>\n<li>dying from COVID-19<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>A booster dose will continue to protect you, your loved ones and your community against COVID-19.<\/p>\n<p>On very rare occasions, there may be a medical contraindication to COVID-19 vaccination. A COVID-19 <a href=\"https:\/\/www.servicesaustralia.gov.au\/im011\">medical contraindication certificate<\/a> is required in this circumstance.<\/p>\n<h2><strong>How do I access a booster shot?<\/strong><\/h2>\n<p>Find a location near you here: <a href=\"https:\/\/covid-vaccine.healthdirect.gov.au\/booking\/\">Vaccine Finder<\/a><\/p>\n<p>Whiddon Easton Park is hosting a clinic next <strong>Friday 1 April, <\/strong>from 10am &#8211; 2pm.
