Please be advised that we are currently experiencing a number of COVID-19 exposures with a number of residents and staff testing positive at Whiddon Largs.<\/p>\n
Please note that antiviral medication is being administered to all residents who have tested positive and only mild respiratory symptoms have been reported. PCR testing is currently being done facility wide.<\/p>\n
Please note<\/p>\n
\u2022 Residents can have 1 nominated visitor per person for the duration of the exposure period, for essential visits only
\n\u2022 All visits to\u00a0 must be pre-booked with administration between the hours of 8.30am- 4.30pm
\n\u2022 Visits must take place in the resident’s room or an outside, well- ventilated area, only
\n\u2022 Face shields and masks are to be worn for the duration of the visit
\n\u2022 Visitors must sign-in and complete a negative RAT test and wear an N95 mask and shield to enter<\/p>\n
The team continue to work with the Public Health Unit and we will keep everyone updated as changes occur.<\/p>\n
