{"id":29038,"date":"2026-08-31T14:18:15","date_gmt":"2026-08-31T04:18:15","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.whiddon.com.au\/comms\/?p=29038"},"modified":"2026-08-31T14:18:37","modified_gmt":"2026-08-31T04:18:37","slug":"important-update-about-your-residential-care-agreement-310826","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.whiddon.com.au\/comms\/important-update-about-your-residential-care-agreement-310826\/","title":{"rendered":"Important update about your residential care agreement &#8211; 310826"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Dear Resident, Family Member or Representative,<\/p>\n<p>We will shortly be sending a letter to you about\u00a0your Residential Aged Care Agreement with Whiddon.<\/p>\n<p>The Australian Government has introduced a new Aged Care Act which requires all aged care providers to review and update agreements for residents who entered care before 1 November 2025.<\/p>\n<p><strong>What this means for you<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>You will receive a letter from us outlining the updates and asking you to acknowledge that you have received information about the changes.<\/p>\n<p>Importantly there are <u>no changes\u00a0<\/u>to your fees and charges, care arrangements, or day-to-day living at Whiddon.<\/p>\n<p>The updates relate to new legislative requirements and resident rights under Australia&#8217;s aged care reforms.<\/p>\n<p><strong>What do you need to do?<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>We will be sending you the letter and information via Email from Docusign.
