Update for Whiddon Easton Park families
Following the escalation of the COVID-19 situation currently evolving in Sydney’s Northern Beaches, as a precautionary measure, we are implementing additional restrictions at Whiddon Easton Park, to help keep everyone safe.
We encourage you not to take your loved one on an external outing until we know more about the situation. Any residents that do attend external outings will need to isolate for 72 hours until we have a better understanding of community transmission. As a reminder, if you are visiting our care home, you will need to wear a mask. If you have visited or reside in a local government area hotspot or a venue identified by NSW Health, you will not be permitted to enter Whiddon Easton Park for now.
We understand that this is a challenging time, particularly as the festive season is upon us, but our highest priority is keeping everyone in our family safe.
We thank you for your understanding and will provide another message to you should there be any further updates or directives from NSW Health.
If you have visited Easton Park since 11 December and have been in a hotspot, or have been deemed to be a close contact, can you please notify the care home as soon as possible.
Please remember that our staff are here to help and are following the important directives that apply at this time.
