Update for Whiddon Largs families and friends
Tuesday 18 August 2020
As you may know, last week we implemented several precautionary measures in response to the COVID-19 situation in the Hunter Region.
The following precautionary measures remain in place:
• Visits are on compassionate grounds only. To request a visit on compassionate grounds, please speak with the Director Care Services or Deputy Director Care Services
• All aged care staff must wear a surgical mask while working in our home
We are pleased to advise that there have been no cases of COVID-19 at Whiddon Largs or at any of Whiddon’s other aged care homes.
Are your contact details up to date?
It is important that we have the right contact details to contact our residents’ families and representatives quickly. You can help us with this by updating your contact details when they change. You can do this here.
We will provide you with another update next week, or sooner if we need to. Please remember to share these updates with family members and friends who would normally visit your loved one and also encourage them to check our COVID-19 page on our website for the latest updates.
We thank you for your understanding and support as we implemented these important measures. We understand this is a challenging time and look forward to increasing visitation once again, once it is safe to do so.
