We had previously advised you that the Queensland Government had given a direction that after 3 May 2021, you must have had the flu vaccine, if it is available to you, to enter an aged care facility in Queensland. If you are unable to have a flu vaccination because you are within two weeks of having or due to receive the COVID vaccine, please see reception staff.
Please note that we received updated advice today that the date relating to this requirement has changed now to 30 May 2021, This means that from 30 May 2021, you must have had the 2021 flu vaccine if it is available to you, to enter an aged care facility. This includes children over six months of age.
