\nA lot of what we do here, in Casino is looking at individual lifestyles and health and ageing and particularly about connection, connection with family. We find it's really, really important and one of the ways that we have been able to continue our clients to connect with their family. No matter how far that is , is through IT, Information Technology and that's with Skype and email.
\nWe've got several clients that I work individually with one on one and we keep connected to their loved ones as far away as America and we've got family that are in Adelaide and Sydney. June one of our residents, we regularly connect on Skype with her son Richard who is an artist in Adelaide and we very much look forward to that speaking on Skype.
\nIt's a two way process both for June and for Richard. It allows them both to see each other, it allows them both to hear each other\u2019s voice and that is immensely important I feel, in allowing that connection to continue. It gives Richard her son that reassurance that his mom is okay, it gives June reassurance that Richard is alright down in Adelaide and the conversations just flow Richard is really good at showing his mom pictures of when she was younger and her family when the children were younger and I help support June to recall those memories and every time it's that Thursday at 11 o' clock to Skype June gets all excited and smiles and happy and it\u2019s just one of those ways that of connecting here for all their children a long, long way away that can't get here on a weekly, on a monthly basis.

\nAnother one of our clients is Ruth, and we have connected wonderfully with her granddaughter in Montana, USA. She lives there with her American husband and what is really special is Kate is having her first baby and it's Ruth's daughter's first grandchild as well. So they're able to keep connected, they're able to talk and see each other such vast distances but as if we are in the same room
\nThe families getting involved, the families giving their loved ones iPads as gifts connecting on the Internet, emailing with our support of course. But that regular checking in "Yes I'm okay, are you okay and seeing each other".
