People and Culture Business Partner (12 months parental leave contract)

Our Support Services (Corporate) team is in search of an experienced and qualified People and Culture Business Partner to join our HR team on a 12-month parental leave appointment.

  • Promote the Purposes and Values of the Whiddon Group
  • Partner with key stakeholders in your dedicated portfolio to support the delivery of Whiddon’s Relationship Based Care Model to our clients and residents
  • Provide guidance and support to managers through the employee lifecycle including recruitment, workforce planning, employee relations and employee departures
  • Coach and support managers through performance and disciplinary matters
  • Provide culture and engagement expertise to facilitate site improvements
  • Actively promote Whiddon’s WHS ways and wellbeing offerings and support the WHS Manager with RTW programs
  • Identify leadership development opportunities and work with managers on succession planning
  • Collaborate with the L&D team on organisation initiatives and opportunities
  • Support the GM, P&C to ensure legislative compliance is maintained across the organisation and in the monthly production of board and workforce planning reports
  • Facilitate the implementation of dedicated P&C initiatives across the group


  • Relevant degree or tertiary qualification in Human Resources or similar.
  • Strong HR knowledge with (5) years’ experience working as an HR professional
  • Demonstrated knowledge and experience with Award/Agreement interpretation.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Intermediate experience using Microsoft Office suite
  • Ability to prioritise workloads and to delegate or escalate issues when required
  • Be self-motivated and engaged in a fast-paced environment
  • Must have the right to work in Australia.
  • Aged and/or community care industry experience is desirable, but not essential.
