Living at home with a Home Care Package

Tom and Topsy are an older couple still living in their own home and the community that they know and love with their little dog, Cobber.

Home and Community Care allows Tom and Topsy to live independently and safely at home. Thanks to Whiddon’s home care packages, Tom and Topsy can live their lives together as they always did, with a little support from Whiddon’s quality aged care services when they need it.

Tom and Topsy have designed their Home Care Package with support from their Home Care Coordinator to meet their needs and goals. They access a range of services including personal care, nursing care to help Topsy, help with housework and shopping, and case management to ensure their needs are being met and to support the family by acting as an advocate during their meetings with hospitals and other health professionals, ensuring Tom, Topsy and their daughters feel supported.
