Update to Whiddon Easton Park and Hornsby families

18 June 2021

Due to new close and casual contact locations in the Sydney region, NSW Health has provided the following advice around visitation, which is relevant to our care homes at Easton Park and Hornsby.

  • All staff and visitors must wear a surgical maskĀ
  • Only two visitors are permitted each day
  • Visits should take place in the resident’s room

It is important that we stay vigilant to help protect our residents, employee and visitors. Please delay your visit if you are feeling unwell and check to see if you have been to any locations of concern before you visit. If you do visit, please ensure you practice good hand hygiene and stay 1.5m from others.

Please be reminded that it is important that you book in before you visit. All visitors and staff entering a residential aged care facility should be required to provide evidence that they received a dose of the 2021 influenza vaccination. There are some exemptions which are outlined in the influenza vaccine medical contraindication form. This will be in effect until 30 September 2021.

Thank you
