Whiddon Moree Nursing Home have welcomed visiting assessors from the Aged Care Quality and Safety Commission this morning to complete the reaccreditation audit.

Please review the attached document and we encourage you to provide feedback through this process: Moree Audit – 2647

If you would like to meet with the assessors personally or speak with them on the phone please call reception on 0267529200 and we organise a time for you.

We encourage these appointments be made before Friday, if possible.

We are pleased to advise that the Outbreak notification for Whiddon Mudgee has been declared closed, in line with guidance from the local Public Health Unit.

There have been no further cases, and normal visitation arrangements can now be resumed.

Please be advised we have unfortunately two confirmed  COVID-19 cases within Easton Park Units, Level 2.

Please note:

• Whiddon Easton Park residents can have one nominated visitor per day for the duration of the outbreak, exemptions are in place for palliative residents.
• Visitors must sign-in, complete a negative RAT test and wear an N95 mask and shield for the duration of the visit.

If they are feeling unwell please consider postponing your visit.

Please note we have a confirmed case of covid within Easton Park Units, please remember to ensure a negative RAT testing prior to arriving at work.

If they are feeling unwell please test yourself and let your manager know – RAT test kits are available through Easton Park Unit administration for collection.

Please be advised that residents from Whiddon Easton Park – Taylor House in Christie 1 is due to come out of the COVID-19 Outbreak this weekend, as there have been no further cases.

We wish to advise that if no additional notification is sent, normal visitations will resume as of Saturday.

Coates ward remains in lockdown as there are still active covid cases.

If visiting Coates ward full PPE is still required.

We would like to advise that the COVID – 19 outbreak notification for Whiddon Mudgee is still active, however due to be declared closed on the 29^th of April – pending any further positive residents.

Please note that this time may be extended if any residents continue to test positive, most cases have been resolved in C wing, however A,B, and D are still affected.

Please note in some areas of the home gowns and gloves will also be required, please follow the directions of staff.
