Update to Whiddon Largs families

26 May 2022

Further to our last update, all residents, including those who have tested positive to COVID-19, may have one nominated partner-in-care to visit them at this time. These visits must be pre-booked and are available between 8am and 3.30pm. Partners-in care will need to wear full PPE, complete a rapid antigen test as a condition of entry, and be escorted to the resident’s balcony for the visit.

The Australian Defence Force personnel will continue to support our staff until this Sunday, 29 May. We are thankful for this support.

We continue to work with the local Public Health Unit and are reviewing a potential plan for residents to come out of isolation, but we are unable to yet confirm when this may be. We will provide further information around this plan early next week.

We understand that this is a challenging time and we thank you for your ongoing support understanding.
