Important Update for Whiddon Easton Park Families, Friends & Representatives

Dear Families, Friends & Representatives,

Please note that Endeavour Energy have advised us that essential electrical maintenance is being conducted in the Glenfield area on Tuesday 16th (7am – 10am) and Thursday 18th May (10am – 2pm).

As we will be using our generators during this time, we do not expect any direct impact for our residents.

Important update for Whiddon Narrabri Robert Young Employees

Dear Employees,

We have moved in to Covid Outbreak Management at Narrabri Robert Young. ALL staff are reminded to wear the correct mask correctly at ALL times including in work areas such as the Kitchen and laundry.

Please also ensure that you are completing your RAT correctly and we are trying to determine how our residents in the DSU have become affected as they have limited mobility.

Important update for Whiddon Narrabri Robert Young Families, Friends & Representatives

Dear Families, Friends & Representatives,

Please be advised that our Covid-19 Exposure has now progressed to an Outbreak with an additional resident testing positive this morning.

The team are working closely with the Public Health Unit, and we will keep you updated as changes occur.

All visitors are requested to complete the screening process including a Rapid Antigen Test (RAT) before entering the home and follow the advice from staff regarding mask and other requirements.

We are pleased to advise that the Outbreak notification for Whiddon Easton Park – Easton Park Units has been declared closed, in line with guidance from the local Public Health Unit.

There have been no further cases, and normal visitation arrangements can now be resumed.

Please be advised that we are currently experiencing a COVID Outbreak at Whiddon Kelso, Kingston Wing.

Please note:

• Residents can have 1 nominated visitor per person for the duration of the outbreak period
• Visits must take place in the resident’s room or an outside, well- ventilated area, only
• Visitors must sign-in, complete a negative RAT test and wear an N95 mask to enter

Whiddon Narrabri have welcomed visiting assessors from the Aged Care Quality and Safety Commission to both homes in Narrabri this morning to complete the reaccreditation audit.
