Update for Whiddon Moree – Families, Friends & Representatives 17/11/2023

Dear Families, Friends & Representatives,

Whiddon Moree has moved to a COVID-19 exposure, following 2 staff members testing positive for COVID-19 overnight.

All residents who received care from these staff have tested negative this morning and staff will continue to monitor all residents closely, at this stage visitations continue with screening in place.

Please note:

  • Visitors must sign-in, complete a negative RAT test and wear an N95 mask before entering the facility.
  • Visits must take place in the resident’s room or an outside, well- ventilated area, only.
  • Please refrain from visiting loved ones if symptomatic or if contact has been made with someone who has tested positive.

Update for Whiddon Bourke – Families, Representatives & Employees 17/11/2023

Dear Families, Representatives & Employees

We are pleased to announce that the COVID-19 outbreak for Whiddon Bourke has been declared over by the Public Health Unit.

Please Note:

  • Normal visiting arrangements will resume with the required masks and screening process still in place.
  • Please refrain from visiting loved ones if symptomatic or if contact has been made with someone who has tested positive.

We would like to thank the wonderful team at Bourke for their diligence in ensuring this was contained to a very small Outbreak.

We are pleased to announce that Whiddon Easton Park, Taylor House COVID-19 outbreak has now been declared over.

Please Note:

  • Please refrain from visiting loved ones if symptomatic or if contact has been made with someone who has tested positive.
  • Visitors must sign-in, complete a negative RAT test and continue to wear N95 mask during visits, until further notice.

Update for Whiddon Narrabri, Robert Young – Employees 14/11/2023

Dear Employees,

Please be advised Whiddon Narrabri-Robert Young remains on outbreak level with nine residents and eight employees testing positive for COVID-19.

Please note:

  • All employees must continue to complete Daily RAT, RAT can be completed at home but evidence of Negative RAT on arrival to work is required.
  • Employees are to remain in their allocated wing and avoid movements between different areas.
  • All staff are required to wear full PPE whilst working.

We would again like to thank all employees for their hard work and extending their shifts to help out, we could not do this without you.

Update for Whiddon Narrabri, Robert Young – Families, Friends & Representatives 14/11/2023

Dear Families, Friends & Representatives,

Please be advised that Whiddon Narrabri, Robert Young is now experiencing a total of 9 residents and 8 staff members positive for COVID-19.

We would like to assure that all residents are stable and recovering.
At this stage, visitations continue with screening in place and please note the conditions of entry:

  • Visitors are advised to continue with the screening, RAT testing and wear full PPEs
  • Visits must continue to take place in the resident’s room or well- ventilated area, only.
  • Please refrain from visiting if you’re feeling unwell or have come in contact with positive case of COVID.

We also would like to thank our residents for their ongoing support with the testing and your ongoing support.

Dear Families, Friends & Representatives,

Please be advised Whiddon Grafton is experiencing a COVID-19 Outbreak, all affected are in a stable condition, receiving antiviral treatments and are being monitored closely.

At this stage, visitations continue with screening in place and please note the conditions of entry:

  • Visitors must sign in, complete a negative RAT test and wear an N95 mask, unless going to see a particular resident or area of concern please wear full PPE, this will be provided. 
  • Visits must take place in the resident’s room or an outside, well-ventilated area, only.
  • Please refrain from visiting loved ones if symptomatic or if contact has been made with someone who has tested positive.

Please be advised that we have an Outbreak at Whiddon Sir David Martin – Treloar 1 with two residents testing positive for COVID-19.

  • Please note that both residents who tested positive are currently in a stable condition, all other residents are being closely monitored
  • At this stage, visitations continue with screening in place.
  • All visitors to Sir David Martin must sign in, complete a negative RAT test, wear an N95 mask and face mask before entering the facility.
  • Visits must take place in the resident’s room or an outside, well-ventilated area, only.
  • Please refrain from visiting loved ones if symptomatic or if contact has been made with someone who has tested positive.
