Dear residents, families and representatives,
With the new aged care reforms now in effect, we’ve updated our Resident Handbook to reflect these changes. The handbook is an important resource, providing information about our purpose and values, approach to care, code of conduct, and practical details such as accommodation, safety, security and medical care at Whiddon.
In addition, you’ll also find updates on:
- Aged Care Quality Standards
- The new Statement of Rights
- Complaints and feedback processes
- Our commitment to clinical governance
You can access the digital version of the handbook here. If you’d prefer a printed copy, please contact your Residential Services Manager and we’ll arrange one for you.
As always, we welcome your feedback and questions and invite you to speak to your Residential Services Manager if you have any queries.
Thank you for being part of the Whiddon family. We remain committed to delivering the highest standard of care for our residents.
