Dear Families and Staff,

Please be advised that we are currently experiencing a COVID Exposure with 1 resident in straughen 2 and 1 resident in Christie 1testing positive, however all other residents have tested negative in Whiddon Easton Park – Taylor House.

The team continue to work with the Public Health Unit and we will keep everyone updated as changes occur.

We are pleased to advise the technicians have been able to repair the fibre optic cable breach and the phone services to Kyogle are back online and full functional.

Dear Families,

Unfortunately phone lines are still down to our Whiddon Kyogle home and may not be repaired until next week. The technicians are still working on this but it looks like we have a major fibre optic cable breach which will require parts and repairs.

Should you need to contact a resident or discuss anything with the staff please call our emergency mobile 0427 829 937.

Please be mindful we have only one mobile for use during this time and it would be appreciated if the incoming calls could be kept to those of an important nature.

We are actively working  to fix the problem and hope the phones will return to full functionality as soon as possible and we will send out a progress update on Monday 30/01/2023.

There have been no further cases, and normal visitation arrangements can now be resumed.

Please be advised the team at Whiddon Moree has welcomed 2 Assessors from the Aged Care Quality and Safety Commission.

The Assessors will be visiting Whiddon Moree Federation Wing and Nan Crane to review our ongoing compliance and actions in response to the previous visit in May 2021.
