Please Note:

Update for Whiddon Easton Park, Easton Park Units – Families, Friends & Representatives 20/11/2023

Dear Families, Friends & Representatives,

Please be advised that Whiddon Easton Park, Easton Park Units is currently experiencing a COVID-19 outbreak.

At this stage, visitations continue with screening in place and please note the conditions of entry:

  • Visitors are advised to continue with the screening, RAT testing and wear full PPE.
  • Visits must continue to take place in the resident’s room or well-ventilated area, only.
  • Please refrain from visiting if you’re feeling unwell or have come in contact with a positive case of COVID.

We encourage our residents to wear masks if they are leaving the facility for social outings or appointments due to increased cases in the community.

Please be advised that Whiddon Narrabri, Robert Young has had no additional cases, in the last 7 days and all cases are recovering well.

At this stage, visitations continue with screening in place and please note the conditions of entry:

  • Visitors must sign-in, complete a negative RAT test and continue to wear N95 mask during visits, until further notice.
  • Visits must continue to take place in the resident’s room or well- ventilated area, only.
  • Please refrain from visiting if you’re feeling unwell or have come in contact with positive case of COVID.

Update for Whiddon Narrabri, Robert Young – Families, Friends & Representatives 17/11/2023

Dear Families, Friends & Representatives,

Please be advised that Whiddon Narrabri, Robert Young has had no additional cases, as of today the total of 9 COVID-19 cases are all recovering well.

In addition, most of the staff members who tested positive have recovered and returned to work.

At this stage, visitations continue with screening in place and please note the conditions of entry:

  • Visitors are advised to continue with the screening, RAT testing and wear full PPEs
  • Visits must continue to take place in the resident’s room or well- ventilated area, only.
  • Please refrain from visiting if you’re feeling unwell or have come in contact with positive case of COVID.

Update for Whiddon Moree – Families, Friends & Representatives 17/11/2023

Dear Families, Friends & Representatives,

Whiddon Moree has moved to a COVID-19 exposure, following 2 staff members testing positive for COVID-19 overnight.

All residents who received care from these staff have tested negative this morning and staff will continue to monitor all residents closely, at this stage visitations continue with screening in place.

Please note:

  • Visitors must sign-in, complete a negative RAT test and wear an N95 mask before entering the facility.
  • Visits must take place in the resident’s room or an outside, well- ventilated area, only.
  • Please refrain from visiting loved ones if symptomatic or if contact has been made with someone who has tested positive.

We are pleased to announce that the COVID-19 outbreak for Whiddon Bourke has been declared over by the Public Health Unit.

Please Note:

  • Normal visiting arrangements will resume with the required masks and screening process still in place.
  • Please refrain from visiting loved ones if symptomatic or if contact has been made with someone who has tested positive.

We would like to thank the wonderful team at Bourke for their diligence in ensuring this was contained to a very small Outbreak.
