COVID Communication – Employees

Dear Employees,

COVID-19 cases are continuing to decrease in the community. Given this, we are updating our infection control and prevention strategies.

Updated requirements from Monday 25th March 2024 are below:

  • Routine mask-wearing will no longer be required. Please revert to the standard Infection Prevention Control (IPC) processes, with masks only required during outbreaks, or if people choose to wear masks as a preventative measure.
  • Return to twice-weekly rapid antigen testing for employees, contractors, and visitors. We will review RA testing in a further 2 weeks if community transmission rates continue to decline.
  • If you are unwell, stay home. People experiencing respiratory symptoms should be encouraged to stay away from our services until their symptoms reside.

Handwashing, respiratory hygiene, and other infection control preventative measures should as always be followed in general practice.

Thanks for your ongoing efforts to keep our people safe.
