We are pleased to advise that the over the weekend, further testing was done regarding COVID-19 and we have had not any further cases.

Another round of testing will be completed this week and updates will be provided as needed.

Update for Whiddon Easton Park – Arthur Webb Court

Dear Families and Staff,

Please be advised Whiddon Easton Park – Arthur Webb Court remains in outbreak mode, although a large number of positive residents have now recovered.

We ask that all visitors to continue to follow our COVID-19 guidelines:

• Residents may only have 1 nominated visitor per person for the duration of the outbreak period, for essential visits only.

• Visits must take place in the resident’s room or an outside, well- ventilated area, only.

• Face masks and correct PPE are to be worn for the duration of the visit.

The team continue to work with the Public Health Unit and we will keep everyone updated as changes occur.

Update for Whiddon Narrabri – Robert Young Families & Staff

Update for Whiddon Easton Park – Taylor House Families & Staff

Dear Families and Staff,

We are pleased to advise that the Outbreak notification for Whiddon Easton Park, Taylor House – Straughen 2  has been declared closed, in line with guidance from the local Public Health Unit.

There have been no further cases, and normal visitation arrangements can now be resumed.

Update for Whiddon Kyogle

Dear Families,

Please be advised that we are currently experiencing a number of COVID-19 exposures with a number of staff testing positive at Whiddon Kyogle, staff members worked within the last 48 hours.

Please note:

  • Visiting will continue as normal with the adherence to screening, RAT prior to entry, social distancing and in room visiting.
  • There will be no change to the upcoming Christmas celebrations unless there is a change in the circumstances at the home.
  • Visits must take place in the resident’s room or an outside, well- ventilated area, only.

All residents will be closely monitored over the next 5 days for any signs or symptoms, everyone is well and symptom free presently.

Please be advised that we are currently experiencing a number of COVID-19 exposures with a number of residents testing positive at Whiddon Easton Park, Easton Park Units Level 2 B

Please note there has been no further cases after testing all residents and staff over the weekend, however, Straughen Level 2 remains in a red zone.

  • Residents in Straughen Level 2 can have 1 nominated visitor per person for the duration of the exposure period, for essential visits only.
  • Visits must take place in the resident’s room or an outside, well- ventilated area, only.
  • Visitors must sign-in and complete a negative RAT test and wear an N95 mask and shield to enter.
