Update for Whiddon Easton Park Residents & Families

Dear Families, Friends & Representatives,

Please be advised we have unfortunatly confirmed a Covid-19 case within Easton Park Units.

Please note:

  • Whiddon Easton Park residents can have one nominated visitor per day for the duration of the outbreak, exemptions are in place for palliative residents.
  • Visitors must sign-in, complete a negative RAT test and wear an N95 mask and shield for the duration of the visit.

If they are feeling unwell please consider postponing your visit.

Update for Whiddon Easton Park – Taylor House Residents & Families

Dear Families, Friends & Representatives,

Please be advised that residents from Whiddon Easton Park – Taylor House in Christie 1 is due to come out of the COVID-19 Outbreak this weekend, as there have been no further cases.

We wish to advise that if no additional notification is sent, normal visitations will resume as of Saturday.

Coates ward remains in lockdown as there are still active covid cases.

If visiting Coates ward full PPE is still required.

Update for Whiddon Mudgee Residents & Families

Dear Families, Friends & Representatives,

We would like to advise that the COVID – 19 outbreak notification for Whiddon Mudgee is still active, however due to be declared closed on the 29th of April – pending any further positive residents.

Please note that this time may be extended if any residents continue to test positive, most cases have been resolved in C wing, however A,B, and D are still affected.

Please note:

  • Whiddon Mudgee residents can have one nominated visitor per day for the duration of the outbreak, exemptions are in place for palliative residents.
  • Visitors must sign-in, complete a negative RAT test and wear an N95 mask and shield for the duration of the visit.

Please note in some areas of the home gowns and gloves will also be required, please follow the directions of staff.

Update for Whiddon Easton Park – Taylor House Residents & Families

Dear Families, Friends & Representatives,

Please be advised that residents from Whiddon Easton Park – Taylor House in Coates Wing have now tested positive, while the Outbreak continues in Christie 1 with additional residents testing positive to COVID-19 today.

Please note:

• Residents can have 1 nominated visitor per person for the duration of the exposure period.
• Visits must take place in the resident’s room or an outside, well- ventilated area, only.
• Visitors must sign-in, take their temperature, complete a negative RAT test and must wear full PPE shield to enter.

Update for Whiddon Moree Residents & Families

Dear Families, Friends & Representatives,

Please be advised that a resident from Whiddon Moree – Perry James Lodge has tested positive to COVID-19 today. We have completed further testing and can confirm that no further residents or staff are positive.

The team are working with the Public Health Unit and we will keep you updated of any changes as they occur.

Normal visitation arrangements remain and regular screening applies for all visitors on arrival.
