Update for Whiddon Kelso Families & Employees 26/12/23

Dear Families, Representatives and Employees

Please be advised that Whiddon Kelso is currently experiencing a COVID-19 outbreak in the Memory Support Home. All other areas of the Home remain clear on initial testing of all residents.

Families of affected residents will be kept up to date on any changes by the team at Whiddon Kelso, as they occur.

We also have a number of staff who have tested positive.

We understand the importance of family at this time of the year, so we encourage visits, however it would be appreciated if visits could please occur outside or in a well-ventilated area, during the outbreak.

Families taking loved ones out are asked to please be cautious, and if possible, try to limit this to small gatherings.

Residents who leave the Home are encouraged to wear a mask and all residents will be tested regularly while we are in outbreak management.

We appreciate your understanding at this time.
