Update for Whiddon Beaudesert Families & Employees 27/12/23

Dear Families, Representatives & Employees,

Please be advised of the following important updates for Whiddon Beaudesert.

Normal power has been restored to the Home following the storms that have impacted Beaudesert and the surrounding areas. During the power outage, the generator was in use, which provided ongoing supply to the Home.

There is also a small COVID-19 outbreak and families of affected residents will be kept up to date on any changes by the team at Whiddon Beaudesert, as they occur.

We also have a staff member who has tested positive.

We understand the importance of family at this time, so we encourage visits, however, if we could please ask visits to occur outside or in a well-ventilated area only during the outbreak.

Families taking loved ones out, we ask that you please be cautious and if possible, please try to limit this to small gatherings.

Residents who leave the Home are encouraged to wear a mask and all residents will be tested regularly while we are in Outbreak Management.

We appreciate your understanding at this time.

The Whiddon team
