Password icon

We recently experienced a Cybersecurity incident and there are some important updates we need you all to be aware of and communicate to your teams. Please be reassured that the situation is under control, our systems are secure and our IT Team is working hard to ensure continued safe access to our systems moving forward.

All employees are required to reset their password and set-up Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA) – the instructions to complete this process can be located here. You may have received our SMS recently regarding this.

The IT Helpdesk will be working across the weekend and next few weeks to provide support for employees – you can contact them at
ITServiceDesk@whiddon.com.au or calling (02) 9827 6770

Further updates will be provided from Whiddon ICT at MyStaffroom, via email and SMS as required

By resetting your password and setting up MFA, you are helping us to ensure the security of our systems, as well as your own personal information.

Some employees may still be experiencing difficulty resetting their passwords or accessing systems and emails on their phone. Please be aware that IT is working to resolve these issues as soon as possible and we really appreciate your patience.

Please note!

Whiddon will never ask for your username/password via SMS or Email – Please speak with ICT before responding to any such SMS or emails

Update for Whiddon Easton Park – Taylor House Families

Further to the previous message which was sent to all families on Friday, please be advised that there are additional positive cases of COVID-19.

At this stage, Christie 1 remains as the only area to be impacted – all other areas in Taylor House continue to be unaffected.

We are working closely with the local Public Health Unit, and can confirm that the Outbreak Management Plan will remain activated. There are also no changes to the visitation arrangements that were communicated last week. Please find these below for ease of reference.

VISITATIONS:

  • For residents in Christie 1: visitations are restricted to partners in care or one nominated visitor, for compassionate and essential visits only.
  • For residents in other areas of Taylor House Building (outside of Christie 1):  normal visitation arrangements apply.

Please note:

  • All visits must be pre-booked
  • Upon arrival, visitors will be required to complete a RAT test
  • Visitors are required to wear PPE for the duration of their visit

We thank you for your understanding and cooperation during this time, and will provide a further update if anything changes.

The Whiddon Team

Join our Diversity and Inclusion Committee!

Whiddon Diversity and Inclusion Commettee

As previously announced, Whiddon Easton Park is setting up a Diversity and Inclusion Committee with the help of A Human Agency (A-HA).
We started with our Harmony Week BBQ, and we recently met with many employees for listening sessions. We now invite you to become part of the Diversity and Inclusion Committee.
Committee members will take part in a monthly Committee meeting (which will be paid time) and act as our cultural advisors on the Committee. We want to highlight and celebrate the diversity of all employees at Whiddon Easton Park.
We encourage you to think about being a representative; a voice to put forward practical ideas to celebrate all our different cultures and to build a sense of belonging within the Whiddon community.

Be part of our Diwali Working Group

To prepare for the upcoming Diwali festival we are setting up a special Diwali Working Group who will lead the planning for our celebration at Whiddon Easton Park. There are five positions available, and we encourage anyone who is familiar with Diwali to nominate.
If you’d like to be part of either of these groups, please send an email to diversity@whiddon.com.au and include a few sentences on how you would contribute to building a diversity action plan which celebrates the different culture at Whiddon or how you would like to help celebrate Whiddon’s Diwali celebrations.
We want to create something special for all who are rostered to work on festival days, so stay tuned for a call out for the next working group.
