Update for Whiddon Moree Residents & Families

Dear Families, Friends & Representatives,

Please be advised that a resident from Whiddon Moree – Perry James Lodge has tested positive to COVID-19 today. We have completed further testing and can confirm that no further residents or staff are positive.

The team are working with the Public Health Unit and we will keep you updated of any changes as they occur.

Normal visitation arrangements remain and regular screening applies for all visitors on arrival.

Important Update for Whiddon Glenfield Staff

Dear Whiddon Glenfield Staff,

Please be advised that we are currently experiencing a rise in COVID-19 cases in NSW. As a precaution, we are implementing the following measures for all Glenfield Services staff until further notice:

All Glenfield Staff are to:

  • Complete a RAT test daily before entering all residential buildings
  • Wear an N95 mask when entering all residential buildings

The team continue to work with the Public Health Unit and we will keep everyone updated as changes occur.

An Important Update for Whiddon Kyogle Families – 24 January 2023

Dear Everyone,

Phone lines are currently down to the home and may not be repaired until tomorrow 25 January.

Should you need to contact a resident or discuss anything with the staff please call our emergency mobile 0427 829 937.

Please be mindful we have only one mobile for use during this time and it would be appreciated if the incoming calls could be kept to those of an important nature.

We expect the phones will be returned to full functionality tomorrow and we will send out an update to confirm.

There have been no further cases, and normal visitation arrangements can now be resumed.

An Important Update for Whiddon Belmont

Dear Families,

The Public Health Unit had advised that we could move from outbreak today (12 Jan), but unfortunately, new positive cases have been detected.

The current Outbreak management plan will continue to operate for the MSH building (Moonyah) and regular surveillance testing under the direction of the Public Health Unit.

An Important Update for Whiddon Kyogle Families

Dear families,

As the local COVID 19 cases have reduced in numbers I happy to advise the requirement to wear a Face Shield when visiting Whiddon Kyogle will cease today.

All visitors are still required to wear a Face Mask at all times when in the home, complete the screening questions and return a negative RAT prior to entry.

Visits may be in the residents room or outside in a garden area.
