Dear Residents, Families and Team Members,
We would like to let you know about upcoming refurbishment works in Violet and Fern Wings at Whiddon Beaudesert.
These works form part of our ongoing commitment to maintaining comfortable and high-quality living environments for our residents. This renovation refreshes interior spaces including flooring, painting, cabinetry and auto doors.
The planned staging is:
- Violet Wing: Works will commence in August, starting with the West Wing, followed by the East Wing and entrance area.
- Fern Wing: Works are expected to commence in September and continue through to November.
Throughout the refurbishment period, residents, families and team members may notice contractor activity within and around the work areas. While every effort will be made to minimise disruption, there may be periods of increased noise, temporary changes to access routes and the presence of construction personnel.
Families and visitors are asked to follow any directions provided by our team while attending the home during the refurbishment period. Team members will also be kept informed of any operational adjustments that may be required as the project progresses.
The wellbeing, safety and comfort of our residents will remain our highest priority throughout the works. Our team will work closely with the contractor to ensure any impacts are carefully managed and that residents continue to receive the support and care they need.
