Getting assessed by My Aged Care is the first step in starting your journey into aged care.
Call 1800 200 422 to begin your assessment. This allows the team to determine the level of support you require and eligible funding you may be able to receive.
Your financial position is important to understand as this impacts your payment options and any subsidies that may be available to you when it comes to residential aged care.
You will be required to complete a financial assessment with Services Australia to determine what you will need to contribute towards your accommodation.

Once you’ve set your heart on your new home, you can begin the admission process. Along with your My Aged Care assessment codes, contact Whiddon’s admissions team on 1300 738 388 to start.
During the admission process, you will receive an agreement. We do recommend getting in touch with a specialised aged care financial advisor to help you understand the agreement and payment terms.
