Personal care services help you with regular assistance with grooming, dressing, personal hygiene, showering and more. We offer personalised support and care services and help you to lead a happy and healthy life.
At Whiddon, your happiness is our priority. We’re dedicated to assisting you with everyday tasks such as grooming, dressing, showering, and personal hygiene, ensuring you begin each day feeling refreshed. Additionally, we support your active lifestyle through exercise routines and assistance with medical appointments. Our objective is to empower you to live confidently and safely at home. Recognising that everyone’s needs are unique, we personalise our services to align with your routine and preferences.
Personal care services can be covered through a number of different funded home care programs. If you’re receiving services through the Commonwealth Home Support Program or have a Home Care Package, your daily care and support can be covered. If you are receiving funded services through the NDIS, we can support you through this program too.
You can also cover the costs of personal care through our private services, including one-off, month to month and prepaid services.
We offer personal care for the elderly at all of our Community Care locations across New South Wales and southern Queensland.

Personal care can include anything that helps you live at home that’s a regular or daily activity. This includes things like showering, getting dressed, personal grooming, helping you go to the toilet, continence management and assistance with eating and meal times.
The frequency of personal care assistance at Whiddon would depend on your individual needs, which are usually assessed during the initial consultation or assessment process. The frequency could vary from occasional assistance to regularly scheduled visits, depending on the level of care required.
