Our approach is to discuss your needs and goals with you and your family or representative, and explore options to support you. We also work closely with a range of specialists to look at available aged care aids and equipment to support you and help you trial these.
In this modern world, the range of assistive goods is extensive. Items commonly help older people living at home with include: mobility aids, scooters and wheelchairs, chairs and beds, therapy aids, personal care aids (such as continence aids). We can also help with home modifications and things like safety rails and ramps.
There is also a great range of technology that can assist you to live at home, stay connected and also improve your safety. From Google Home and smart TVs, to smart monitoring, safety alarms and care calls and phone reminders.
The cost of mobility aids, equipment and technology to support you to live at home varies. If you are receiving funding through a Home Care Package, these costs can be covered through your Package, depending on your personal budget.
We can also work with you to explore paying for these goods privately or through your private health insurance.
