Nursing care, with a qualified Registered Nurse or a care worker, at home can be covered through a range of funded and private options. These include nursing care through your Home Care Package, or paying for nursing at home through our private packages.
Nursing care at home is available in most of our Community Care locations across New South Wales and southern Queensland. Whiddon has residential aged care homes across 20 locations with highly trained and experienced clinical care workers and Registered Nurses. We can discuss care staff options with you, depending on your health needs.
Our range of care and support services are extensive and our experienced team, including your dedicated Care Coordinator, will work closely with you and/or your family to understand what will work for you, how we can support you and what it will cost.
Depending on your care and support needs, you may find that a short stay in a residential aged care home through respite care can support you to get back on your feet. While home care services are extensive and highly personalised to your needs, goals and situation, sometimes a period of time in a home, with round-the-clock care, can support you to rehabilitate and recover.
