Join us at Whiddon to celebrate the 2020 NSW Seniors Festival. Our homes and services have an exciting line-up of events and you’re invited!

We love celebrating NSW Seniors Festival and this year we are again offering an exciting jam-packed program of events – from art workshops, pop-up cafes and guest speakers, to high tea events and a ‘back to the 20’s’ tea dance!

This year’s Festival will be held from 12 – 23 February with the theme Love to Celebrate! We’re encouraging our residents and clients to join in the fun, share new experiences and meet new friends by offering an inviting and engaging program that’s open to our communities.

We’re also paying tribute to, and celebrating, the valuable role that older people have in our communities. So join us in celebrating this year’s Festival – it’s sure to be a whole lot of fun for everyone!

Whiddon Belmont

  • Back to the 20’s Tea Dance, Friday 21 February, 9.30am – 11.30am
    The 20’s are back, so get set to enjoy a dance with a difference! The New Vogue Dancers will perform at Whiddon Belmont and teach a range of dance styles while we serve up a delicious morning tea for our residents and guests. Open to public, RSVP on 1300 738 388.

Whiddon Casino

  • Coffee Club, art exhibition & workshop, Wednesday 19 February from 9:30am
    Coffee, tea and nibbles, an exhibition of residents’ works and an art workshop led by Japanese artist Hiromi Tango – it really is a day of creation and connection at Whiddon Casino.

Whiddon Easton Park

  • Aged Care Open Day, Friday 28 February, 10am -11.30am
    Find our more about Whiddon Easton Park, our award-winning care and wellbeing programs, and meet new friends. Includes an understanding aged care talk, morning tea, art workshop and a visit from some cute and cuddly Creature Comforts pets! Open to public, RSVP on 1300 738 388.

Whiddon Grafton

  • Tea and craft session with a difference! Friday 14 February, 10am
    Morning tea and a craft session with our residents and Whiddon Grafton team. We will be knitting and sewing much- needed mittens and pouches and donating these for wildlife affected by the bushfires.

Whiddon Kelso

  • Growing Together Gardening session and BBQ, Thursday 13 February, 10:00 am.

Whiddon Kyogle

  • Exercise session, tea and lunch, Thursday, 13 February, 10am

Whiddon Largs

  • Seniors Festival High Tea, Friday 21 February, 10am

  • Art Spectacular, Thursday 20 February, from 9:00am

  • Coffee Club, Thursday 20 February
    Enjoy a hot beverage in our stunning new cafe and take a look around our newest home, Whiddon Redhead! Chat to an aged care expert and find out more about our award-winning care and new household living model – a first for Whiddon! Whiddon Temora

  • Seniors Festival Afternoon Tea and Guest Speaker, Tuesday 19 February
    Bill Speirs from Temora Rural Museum will be the special guest at our afternoon tea event to celebrate the NSW Seniors Festival at Whiddon Temora. All welcome to enjoy afternoon tea and celebrate the town’s unique history. Open to public, RSVP on 1300 738 388.

Whiddon Walgett

  • Intergenerational cake decorating workshop, Monday 10 February, 10am – 12pm
    There will be plenty of fun at a cake decoration workshop when local pre-school children come to visit to join residents at Whiddon Walgett and the community to whip up some new creations!
